The Milton Keynes Phantoms play in the UKFF Senior National League - Midlands 2nd Division.
Sunday we played two games and are now fighting for playoff spot with just 2 games left of the season
The results were MK Phantoms 10 - 1 Warwick win and MK Phantoms 4 -5 Manchester Salibandits lose.

The game against Warwick was quickly put to bed by the Phantoms with some fast goals at the start of the game to lead the first period leading 4-0.  With a hard game in the afternoon MK put on players from the clubs 2nd team to rest key players needed for the afternoon. The phantoms cruise through the next two periods leading 9-0 with Warwick attacking well but never able to find the back of the net, then in the 3rd Warwick got a lucky shot from the corner that found the back of the net. MK got their final goal of the game in the final few minutes finishing 10-1.

With Manchester just 1 point behind the Phantoms this game was always going to be a hard game to win. With both teams starting the game with a lot of attacking pressure and speed the game was set to be an exciting game and we was not disappointed. With Phantoms getting a couple of quick goals before Phantoms conceded a penalty shot. Phantoms goalie Steve Akehurst saved the penalty and with the team surviving the following 2 minutes with a man down they gained self-belief scoring again before Manchester finish the period strongly scoring 2 goals. After the break Manchester came out hard attacking with new found strength that the Phantoms struggled to control as they conceded 3 goals. Losing the period was a big blow and with new composure the team come out back on top always attacking but unable to find the back of the net till half way through the final period to get back into the game. With the phantoms 4th goal coming with 3 minutes to go the Phantoms left it too late to get the draw finally losing 4-5
