Great Britain have finished a very successful tournament including their first ever Win for the U19's and coming 4th in the tournament with 2 points.

GB's first game was against hosts Spain and was a very tough game for a team that had very little training together before. With Spain having 4 international warm-up games they played a very confident game winning 13-0.

The 2nd game proved to be just as tough with GB losing 10-1 to Belgium.
With Ukraine losing their games 29-3 and 15-2 GB knew their 3rd was a must win game. With a close game from the start GB finished the first period just ahead 3-2. Each time Ukraine scored GB brought the score even and then with 90 seconds to go managed to take the lead. The 2nd period was a quite period with only one goal a piece on the board. This period was a very fast end to end play but both goalies played great to deny some very good shoots. And so GB went into the 3rd period in the lead where they got 3 more goals before some tired legs let Ukraine back into the game with 2 quick goals. With these 2 quick goals and only 2 mins left Ukraine hoped to seize the moment and decided to pull their goalie for an extra player. This proved not to work out with GB getting 2 more goals and winning 9-5.
The final game for GB was against Estonia who are seeded 11 places above us. This game was never going to be a win but was great training for the team to work on plays and fitness. And saw Jack get his first GB point with an assist of the 3rd GB goal. The final score being 25-3.

This tournament was a great success for the MK players with all of them learning so much from it. They now know what the targets are to improve their game. These games were tougher than anything they will play in this season and they all managed very well. The club is very proud of how Jack, Alex and Jay represented the club and country
