Full Fixtures for Phantoms and Shadows tournament dates

UKFF Midlands have now released the full fixtures for the Midlands leagues.
Our fixtures pages has been updated.

Phantoms will have 6 Game days with 2 games per game day.
Shadows will have 5 recreational tournaments.

Team Captains announced

The club has voted for this season's captains for both teams.

Captain - Richard Draper
Alternate - Nick Clapham
Alternate - Ian Copping
Alternate - Corey Jamieson

Captain - Nick Sharp
Alternate - Olie Smark Spring
Alternate - Victoria Chestnutt

Teams for Midlands 2nd division announce

The midlands website have announced the teams in the 2nd division. The deadline for entry is 2 weeks away but these are the teams who have signed up. No other teams are looking to join the league so without any surprise entries this will be the final members to the league.

GB Win their First ever GB U19's game!

Great Britain have finished a very successful tournament including their first ever Win for the U19's and coming 4th in the tournament with 2 points.

GB's first game was against hosts Spain and was a very tough game for a team that had very little training together before. With Spain having 4 international warm-up games they played a very confident game winning 13-0.

The 2nd game proved to be just as tough with GB losing 10-1 to Belgium.

GB have a tough warm-up game

GB U19's landed yesterday and went straight into playing their warm-up game. Losing 11-4 the team was able to use this time well to gel as a unit ready for today's game against Spain. After the warm-up game the team went to the gym for some extra training before their first game later tonight.

Today's game against Spain will be a very hard game against the host nation. The game starts at 6:15PM and is being shown live on youtube and will be available afterwards for viewing for free. www.youtub...

3 club members represent GB in Men´s U19 WFC 2015 Qualifications

Jack Thorpe, Alex Gadeke and Jay Bazzone are representing the club in the GB under 19's team this week.

The guys set off tomorrow to Madrid, Spain to play the European group qualifications for Men´s U19 WFC 2015. GB are playing against Estonia (11), Spain (18), Belgium (19), Ukraine (No ranking - 1st competing event). With GB being ranked 22 in the world you can see that this is going to be a tough group.
